Two con men Roman and Fenner, arrive in Santa Helena and strike a deal with Montoya for the 1000 Reales reward on the Queen of Swords head.

Roman is a huge man with a conscience and Fenner is a small man with most of the big plans. The situation becomes complicated for the Queen when Marta and Roman become romantically involved.

During their attempt to the Queen for the reward the Queen saves Roman's life and the two have a change of heart about keeping their word to Montoya. But how do they get out of their deal to kill the Queen?

Montoya has no intentions of letting them off the hook and to force the two to complete their bargain and kill the Queen he has Fenner arrested and sentences him to hang.

Will the Queen be able to save the rogues from Montoya before Roman is forced to try to kill her to save his friend? What will the effect of this all be on Marta and her relationship with Tessa?
